Hudson County Man Drove Car Into Pond At Golf Course, Walked Away, Police Say
A Hoboken man left his car in a snowy pond at a Pennsylvania golf course and found his way to a hotel, police say. See photos.

HOBOKEN, NJ — A Hoboken man drove his car across a Pennsylvania golf course, left it in a pond, and walked away, police say.

Police in East Lampeter, Pa. charged Sung Chun, 50, of Hoboken with trespass by motor vehicle on Thursday, they said in a social media post Friday.
Police said that just after 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, they were sent to Lancaster Country Club on a report of a vehicle in a pond.

They determined that Sung drove onto the property on Wednesday around 8:30 p.m., "across portions of the golf course and ultimately into a pond."

Chun got out of the car, failed to report the incident, and spent the night at a local hotel, police said.

Police said that he returned while police were investigating, and was cited with a Pennsylvania motor vehicle violation.
