HOBOKEN, NJ — What's closed and open for Labor Day weekend in Hoboken?

This year, Labor Day is celebrated on Monday, Sept. 5.

Despite the holiday, several local grocery stores and supermarkets are open.

ShopRite And More

Trader Joe's and ShopRite both said they're open regular hours this coming Monday. For ShopRite, that's 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. For Trader Joe's, that's 9-9.

City Hall, Parking, And Recycling

In observance of Labor Day, Hoboken municipal offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 5.

Parking meters and street cleaning will be suspended on Monday, the city said. All other parking regulations will be enforced.

Hop shuttle service will be suspended starting on Saturday, Sept. 3 through Monday, Sept. 5, due to the holiday. Hop shuttle service will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 6.

Waste collection and recycling will occur as regularly scheduled, the city said.
