Fallen Tree Limb Kills Sussex Co. Man, Police Say
The man was cutting the tree at the time of the incident, authorities said.
SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ — A Sussex County man is dead after being struck by a fallen tree limb, according to police.
William Woortman, 38, of Frankford Township, was cutting a tree on Union Turnpike around 6 p.m. Thursday when the accident happened, officials said.
Authorities said Woortman sustained fatal injuries when he was hit by the fallen tree limb.

New Jersey State Police are investigating the incident. Police did not mention any other injuries from the accident.
