• Jefferson Town Council Approves New Police Contract (TAPinto.net) — Jefferson residents now have a new police contract locked in through 2029, after the Town Council unanimously approved a long-term deal with the Jefferson Township Police Department. The agreement sets detailed salary ranges for every rank, applies retroactively to cover the 2025 contract lapse, and was negotiated without outside attorneys over seven months, according to the township business administrator.
