Victim In Fatal 4-Alarm Fire In Jersey City Identified
A 90-year-old woman died in a fire in North Jersey and a firefighter was injured, officials said.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A 90-year-old woman died in a fire in Jersey City on Thursday, prosecutors said.
Zenaida Mojica was identified Friday in the blaze that burned a Boyd Avenue home on Thursday night.
Two men who lived at the home, as well as a Jersey City firefighter, were taken to Jersey City Medical Center, but their injuries were not life-threatening, said the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.

Firefighters were notified around 5:10 p.m. about the blaze at 81 Boyd Ave., on the city's West Side, officials said.
Nineteen people were displaced from the building and neighboring buildings, prosecutors said.

The Prosecutor's Office is investigating the cause of the fire, but foul play is not suspected, officials said.
Mayor James Solomon said on Thursday night, "Our hearts are broken for the family and the city is prepared to help them with resources however we can."
