3 Men Sexually Assaulted 3 Girls At North Jersey Instagram Meetup: Prosecutors
A third man has been arrested in connection with the sexual assault of three girls in North Jersey in July.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A third man was arrested Monday in connection with the sexual assault of three girls in Jersey City in July after they met a man via Instagram, officials say.
On Monday, U.S. Marshals arrested Quamel Settle, 20, of Jersey City. He was charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
As previously reported, two other men —Desmar Rivers, 27, and Jaquan Robinson, 19, of Jersey City — were arrested in July on sex assault and weapons charges after prosecutors investigated the assault of three girls.

Prosecutors said that on July 5, their Special Victims Unit was notified by Jersey City Medical Center about three minors who had been sexually assaulted over the weekend.
Investigators determined that the three met a man through Instagram and made plans to meet up with him at an apartment in Bergen Avenue in Jersey City.

One of the victims was 14 and the other two were 15, according to the complaint in the case.
On July 3, the man called a rideshare to take the three from Elizabeth to Jersey City. At the apartment, they were sexually assaulted, prosecutors said.
Detectives searching the apartment found a handgun, large-capacity magazine, and hollow point bullets.
Rivers and Robinson were both charged with sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child, possession of a prohibited device (hollow point bullets), possession of a prohibited device (large-capacity magazine), and unlawful possession of a weapon. Rivers was also charged with certain persons not to possess a weapon.
Rivers and Robinson were taken to the Hudson County Jail in July.
On Monday, Settle was arrested at a home on Fulton Avenue, prosecutors said.
He was also brought to the Hudson County jail, they said.
