SoulPhamm is conducting virtual auditions for its newly combined traveling & competitive Cheer and Majorette Team for girls ages 12-19. We have five slots available for girls ages 9 to 11.
The team will focus on traditional cheerleading infused with HBCU style stomp & shake and hip-hop majorette dance, training for regional cheer, dance, and majorette competitions, parades, and high-visibility sporting events (collegiate and professional). Half of the practice day focuses on stomp & shake and the other half focuses on majorette dance.
The team is currently based in DOWNTOWN NEWARK and in person practices are held on Saturdays from 12:30pm to 4pm.
Our season is from September to June with training and practices occurring virtually in July and August for the benefit of athletes who work and travel.
Cost is $10 for registration, $40/month dues plus the cost of uniforms. There are no dues charged in July/August so that families can focus on uniform purchase. Payment plans are available.
