Shelter-In-Place Lifted At Lacey Township High School

The threat is under investigation Tuesday morning.

LACEY, NJ — A shelter-in-place was lifted Tuesday at Lacey Township High School after police found there was no threat to the school or the public.

"Officers from the Lacey Township Police Department will remain present around our schools today," police said.

The school was placed in "secure" early Tuesday, meaning all doors were locked and no one could enter or leave the building, Principal Jason King said.

"There will be additional police presence at the buildings to allow for monitored student arrival and building security," King said.
