Livingston Police Will Hold Community Block Party: Food, Rides, Family Friendly Activities (patch.com) — Livingston residents are invited to a free, family-focused Community Block Party hosted by the Livingston Police Department on Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Oval. Partnering with Youth Appreciation Week and the Livingston Fire Department, the event will feature rides, games, food, emergency vehicle displays and demonstrations, while also offering local organizations and businesses a chance to host tables and connect with the community.
   

2. Feds accuse ex-Bank of America investment banker and friend of insider trading (charlotteobserver.com) — A Livingston resident, former Bank of America investment banker Jason Satsky, is facing SEC civil fraud charges alleging he leaked confidential deal information that enabled a friend to make millions in stock trades. Satsky's attorney strongly denies any wrongdoing, saying there is no evidence he shared illegal information, while regulators seek penalties, profit clawbacks, and officer-and-director bans.
