• Livingston Seniors Earn Awards In County Art Contest: Here's Who Won This Year (patch.com) — Livingston seniors shined in the 2026 Essex County Senior Citizens Juried Art Show, earning top honors across several categories for oil, craft, mixed media, watercolor and pastels. Local artists such as Angela Wang, Mary Guerriero, Barbara Sax, Susan Greenwald and Rosann Toma were among 35 seniors recognized, underscoring Livingston's strong creative community.
   

• Seven Livingston Students Named Semifinalists in National Merit Scholarship Competition (tapinto.net) — Livingston High School is celebrating seventeen seniors who have been named National Merit Scholarship semifinalists, putting them among the top-scoring students in the country. These students now move on in a rigorous process that includes applications, essays, recommendations, and test scores, with a chance to earn part of nearly $24 million in scholarships next spring.
   

• Two Men Charged in Theft of Over $670,000 from Mail in Livingston and Clifton (tapinto.net) — Livingston residents should know that two men have admitted in federal court to a mail-theft scheme that hit local USPS collection boxes and financial institutions, contributing to more than $670,000 in losses. Using stolen postal arrow keys, they stole and altered checks between 2021 and 2022, and now face sentencing later this year and in early 2027.
