Amazon Fresh Coming To Eatontown, Holmdel: Report

EATONTOWN, NJ — The Asbury Park Press is reporting that Amazon will open an Amazon Fresh grocery store in Eatontown.

The new Amazon Fresh will open in what used to be the former Toys R Us on Rt. 35 in Eatontown, a space now vacant for several years.

A second Amazon Fresh will open at Holmdel Commons, the Asbury Park Press reported. These will be the two Amazon Fresh supermarkets in Monmouth County.

Amazon has officially declined to confirm either store opening.

Many Amazon Fresh supermarkets use "Just Walk Out" shopping carts, where customers take an item off the shelf and then scan it right at their shopping cart, and then pay when they leave the store. There is no waiting in the check-out line.
