• Long Valley BOE Eyes 4 New Buses, Utilities Presentation Planned (patch.com) — Long Valley residents can weigh in as the Washington Township Board of Education meets Tuesday night at Long Valley Middle School to consider leasing four new 54-passenger school buses and renting out two existing buses. The board will also hear the district's 2025-26 audit, a presentation from the Municipal Utilities Authority, and review the school self-assessment under New Jersey's Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights, with time set aside for public comment.
   

• Two Sisters Farm Opens on Schooley's Mountain in Long Valley, NJ (thelocalgirl.com) — A new family-friendly pumpkin patch, Two Sisters Farm on Schooley's Mountain, is now open weekends at 26 Pleasant Grove Road in Long Valley with free admission and wagon rides. Visitors can pick pumpkins by the pound, enjoy mountain views, and sample cider, doughnuts, and other seasonal treats, with leashed dogs also welcome during the farm's inaugural fall season.
