(nj.com subscription) — Ramapo College in Mahwah is emerging as a global leader in investigative genetic genealogy, running a hands-on bootcamp where volunteers help tackle real cold cases from Arizona to Wisconsin. The Mahwah-based IGG Center partners with New Jersey State Police, trains volunteers worldwide, and has already helped exonerate two men and identify long-unidentified remains, all from its basement lab on campus.
