Crash Involving Utility Pole Closes Road In Manalapan: Police

MANALAPAN, NJ — A crash involving a utility pole has led to a road closure on Monday afternoon.

At 2:56 p.m. on Monday, Manalapan Police said Symmes Drive will be closed in both directions between Sutton Drive and Argyle Lane due to a motor vehicle crash involving a utility pole, which is down in the roadway.

The road closure is expected to extend into the evening hours, police said.

While a detour is in place, authorities are urging drivers to plan an alternate route if possible.
