Delayed Opening Set For Manalapan-Englishtown Regional Schools: See Details
The delayed opening follows a winter storm that brought snow, ice, subzero wind chills and more to the Garden State over the weekend.
MANALAPAN-ENGLISHTOWN, NJ — Schools in the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District will operate on a 90-minute delayed opening schedule on Tuesday due to weather conditions, the district has announced.
This delay will allow extra time for the district team to re-treat school grounds, officials said. A full breakdown of the district’s delayed opening schedule can be found here.
“I also want to extend a tremendous thank you to our Physical Plant staff and mechanics, who have worked around the clock over the past two days to get our schools ready to open, as well as to our bus drivers, who came in today to ensure our buses were ready to roll!” Superintendent Nicole Santora said in a message to families.

The closures came after a winter storm lashed New Jersey with snow, ice, wintry mix, and subzero wind chills over the weekend, bringing up to a foot of snow in Monmouth County.
