Theft, Fraud, Harassment: Manalapan Police Blotter

Manalapan Police reported four theft-related incidents from Feb. 4 through Feb. 10.

MANALAPAN, NJ — Manalapan Police reported incidents of fraud, theft, harassment and more from Feb. 4 through Feb. 10.

Feb. 4
A 28-year-old Manalapan resident reported that $520 was stolen from their home while they were away at work.

A 64-year-old Manalapan resident reported that their neighbor harassed them by making loud noises in their second-floor home, located directly above the victim’s home, and made threats towards them. There was no physical altercation between the two parties.

Feb. 5
Patrols responded to a home in reference to a theft of property. The caller reported that someone stole a medication bottle from the property.

Feb. 6
A Manalapan business owner reported that they gave two independent software developers multiple items in 2023 to help develop the company’s phone app and website. The victim reported that they have not received any of the product purchased, causing the company a total loss of $4,289.97 for the missing items.

Patrols responded to a business on Route 9 for a report of shoplifting. Upon arrival, the accused person was trespassed from the business, and all stolen merchandise was recovered. The business was advised of complaint-signing procedures.

Feb. 7
A 56-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone withdrew approximately $4,800 from their bank account. The victim said they are at a monetary loss of $4,800.

A 38-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone they know has been harassing them by making loud noises against their home.

Feb. 8
A 57-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone fraudulently charged $679.24 worth of various charges to their credit card. The report is pending further investigation.

Feb. 9
Patrols responded to a Manalapan business on U.S. Highway 9 for a report of theft. The incident occurred on Jan. 30, 2026, at 10:06 a.m., when someone stole $1,808.45 worth of merchandise. The report is pending further investigation.

Feb. 10
During a traffic stop on U.S. 9 North in Manalapan, a driver was found to be a wanted person out of the Nazareth Borough, PA, Police Department.

The driver was arrested and brought to the Manalapan Township Police Department to be processed. He was later processed and charged with being a fugitive from justice and remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, awaiting extradition.
