Herbert Fredrick Abrecht (starnewsgroup.com) — Longtime Manasquan and Brielle resident Herbert Fredrick Abrecht has died at 96, remembered for his carpentry skill, construction leadership, and deep local roots. Raised in North Jersey, he built hospitals, municipal buildings, and libraries, loved golf and Atlantic City trips, and leaves behind five children, 12 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Interment will be private.
