• Manor College has 5 named to USCAA Baseball National All-Academic Team (thereporteronline.com) — A Mays Landing resident, Jacob Torres, has been honored again for excelling both on the field and in the classroom, earning a spot on the USCAA Baseball National All-Academic Team. The Manor College outfielder and Cedar Creek alum is the first in program history to receive this academic award multiple times, capping his achievements with recent graduation and continued success. 
• Mays Landing man admits to three separate Atlantic City drug cases (breakingac.com) — A 31-year-old Mays Landing resident has pleaded guilty in three Atlantic City drug cases and is expected to receive a three-year sentence, with formal sentencing set for July 21. Police say he was repeatedly found with fentanyl, cocaine, and cash over several months and has been held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility since his March arrest.
• Serial Arsonist Set Jersey Boardwalk Aflame 3 Times, Prosecutor Says (patch.com) — From the Mays Landing-based county prosecutor’s office, authorities say a New York man already on probation for earlier Atlantic City arsons is now jailed and accused of setting new fires near the Korean War Memorial on the boardwalk. He’s being held pending trial and is due back in court July 16, highlighting ongoing safety and justice concerns for nearby shore communities.
