• Mendham Fest Returns to Borough Park on Saturday, October 3, With a Fire Department Beer Garden and a Morning 5K (shopmorriscounty.com) — Mendham residents can spend Saturday, October 3, entirely at Borough Park, starting with the Harvest Hustle kids' run and 5K in the morning and rolling right into Mendham Fest from noon to 5 p.m. Expect food trucks, a fire department beer garden, live music, inflatables, and oversized lawn games, with pay-as-you-go admission and race prices rising after September 7.
   

• Christmas Lights in New Jersey: Every Morris County Tree Lighting and the Drive-Through Shows Worth the Trip (shopmorriscounty.com) — Mendham families can look forward to the long-running Mendham Business Association Holly Trail and tree lighting downtown near the Phoenix House, a free December tradition that drew over 130 families last year. The broader guide also maps out other Morris County light displays and major drive-through shows, with dates to be updated as towns finalize their 2026 holiday schedules.
