Adam Driver Movie Likely What's Filming At Evil Clown Site In Middletown

The parking lot will be transformed to resemble a gas station.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — A Netflix crime movie starring Adam Driver is likely the movie that will be filming at the Circus Liquors "Evil Clown" property on Rt. 35 in Middletown, the Asbury Park Press reports.

Film crews moved into the lot last Tuesday.

The movie is called "Rabbit, Rabbit" and filming will take place from March 16 - June 26.

The Rt. 35 site (currently an empty parking lot) will be transformed to resemble a gas station, but it will not be operational. Film crews are expected to be on site there through late June.

The production companies are MRC and Truck Stop Productions.

"It does not represent permanent redevelopment of the property," said Middletown Twp. in this statement posted to its website. "All changes are temporary and will be removed following the conclusion of filming, which is expected to continue through late June," said the town.
