• Millburn's Taylor Park Rose Garden Entrance Closed Until Further Notice (patch.com) — Access to Taylor Park's rose garden from Millburn Avenue is temporarily closed as Millburn begins its Taylor Park Gateway Project, aimed at upgrading the park's main entrance. Pedestrians are being redirected to entrances via Whittingham Terrace, Lot 12 by Millburn Deli, and Main Street while sidewalks are removed and tree protections installed, with no reopening date yet announced.
   

• Seton Hall Prep cross-country team has great start to the season (essexnewsdaily.com) — Seton Hall Prep's cross-country team opened its season strong, including a decisive Super Essex Conference win over Millburn's squad at Branch Brook Park. Freshman and JV teams both took first at the Season Opener Invitational, while varsity earned second against Ridgewood, with several Pirates placing in the top 15 overall.
