• Mine Hill Celebrates America 250 With a Four-Night Carnival and Saturday Fireworks June 18-21, 2026 (shopmorriscounty.com) — Mine Hill is hosting a four-night America 250 carnival June 18–21 at Veteran and First Responders Memorial Park on Baker Street, capped by a big fireworks show on Saturday, June 20. You’ll find rides, fair food, drinks, and a combined Mine Hill Day celebration, all right behind Town Hall and next to the Civic Center. 
• Five northwest New Jersey school districts awarded tutoring grants (wrnjradio.com) — Mine Hill Township schools are set to receive $40,000 in state funding to expand high-impact tutoring in English and math for the 2026–27 school year. The grant will support small-group sessions held multiple times a week, aligned with classroom lessons and closely tracking student progress.
