‘Our Journeys’ Exhibit In Montclair Tells Stories Of Vietnamese Americans

The Vietnamese Boat People nonprofit is bringing a multimedia exhibit to the Montclair Library.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — The Montclair Public Library will host a special opening event for “Our Journeys,” a multimedia exhibition created by the Montclair-based Vietnamese Boat People nonprofit on Wednesday, May 6.

The event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Admission is free; RSVP is required and can be done online here.

“Centering the voices of Vietnamese Americans, Our Journeys brings to life deeply personal stories of migration, memory, and resilience. Through oral histories, cherished artifacts, and interactive elements, the exhibition invites visitors to explore the emotional and historical threads that connect generations across the diaspora.”

The exhibit will also be on view from May 6 to June 6 during library public hours. Learn more here.
