Man Charged With Murder In South Jersey Cold Case
The Burlington City man was charged after the 2020 apartment complex shooting.

EDGEWATER PARK, NJ — A 32-year-old man was charged with murder after a 2020 shooting in Edgewater Park, the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office said.
Jevon Mobley, of Burlington City, was charged with first-degree murder, first-degree conspiracy, second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
On June 11, 2020, at around 11:15 p.m., authorities responded to the Orchard Park apartments along Woodlane Road for a reported shooting.

They found Damian Hampton, 27, of Burlington City, lying in the street after being shot multiple times, officials said.
He was declared dead approximately an hour later at Virtua Hospital Willingboro.

Mobley was charged after results from ballistic evidence recently caused the Prosecutor's Office to review the case.
He was served a warrant on Thursday inside the Burlington County Jail where he is being held on unconnected charges.
