  • *Tim Dougherty, Democrat: Dougherty has served as Morristown’s mayor since 2010.

“Morristown is a special place, and I am mindful every day that I have a major responsibility to ensure that Morristown continues to be the ideal town to live, to work and to raise a family, as well as to feel safe and proud to call it home,” Dougherty said in a statement earlier this year.

  • Bruce Meringolo, Republican: Meringolo is a former school board member and former mayor of Long Hill who works in corporate real estate.

“I believe it’s time for fresh leadership, transparency, and accountability. Morristown deserves a leader who listens, brings people together, and focuses on common-sense solutions.”

I want to be a voice for our residents and listen to their concerns.”
