Driver, 83, Killed After Crashing Into Tree In Morris County, Police Say
The driver was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead, authorities said.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A person is dead after a car collided with a tree in Morris County this week, according to prosecutors.
On Tuesday, just before 2 p.m., Hanover Township police were called to Elm Place on reports of a car crash.
Authorities found that a Hyundai Sonata, driven by an 83-year-old, drove into a grassy area and slammed into a tree, officials said.

The driver, the sole occupant of the Hyundai, was rushed to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead, according to police.
Authorities have not released the name of the driver. The crash is under investigation by the Morris County Sheriff’s Office and Hanover Township Police Department.
