6 People Taken Into ICE Custody In New Brunswick Saturday

They were taken at approximately 11 a.m. Saturday. ICE was reportedly in New Brunswick last Wednesday as well.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — At least six people were taken into ICE custody Saturday morning in New Brunswick, according to News 12 New Jersey and immigration advocacy group New Labor.

They were taken by ICE at approximately 11 a.m. Saturday. Three were taken at the intersection of French and Handy streets. More were taken at Livingston and Suydam, as well as Jersey Avenue and Handy Street, according to unverified eyewitness reports on Facebook.

ICE was in New Brunswick last Wednesday, Jan. 28 as well: There were eyewitness reports of ICE agents on Georges Road and Power Street, and people taken into custody on Florence and Somerset streets last Wednesday.

News 12 has videos of some of the people being taken into ICE custody Saturday. The videos show agents wrestling a man onto the sidewalk and putting him in handcuffs behind his back. Another man could be seen being loaded into an unmarked vehicle.
