World Cup Watch Party Sunday In Highland Park
Come see Canada vs. South Africa. They will also be broadcasting the World Cup final July 19. Here are details:
HIGHLAND PARK, NJ — Highland Park will hold World Cup watch parties this Sunday, June 28 and July 19 for the World Cup final.
They will be streaming the games on a large screen in the municipal parking lot at 212 Raritan Avenue. 2 to 6 p.m. both days.
"This Sunday, June 28, join us in downtown Highland Park for our first Soccer World Cup 2026 Watch Party! Gather at the municipal parking lot next to 212 Raritan Avenue to catch Canada vs. South Africa live."

July 19 is the FIFA World Cup final, so that's the biggest game.
Activities kick off at 2:00 p.m., with live match screening from 3 to 5 p.m. Also this Sunday afternoon, they will have a special ceremony recognizing Spencer Rockman (aka Coach Spencer) for over five decades of coaching, leadership and extraordinary service to youth soccer in Highland Park."

"Bring your own lawn chair, and try to bring some takeout from one of Highland Park’s many downtown restaurants while you watch the match. Support our downtown businesses!" say organizers.
Also, Downtown Highland Park screens outdoor arthouse movies on select nights this summer. This Saturday, June 27 they are screening "Videodrome" in that same location (212 Raritan Avenue), which they've renamed the Highland Park Outdoor Movie Theater. Movie starts at 9 p.m.
