Parlin Woman Critical After Crash With Tractor Trailer On Rt. 18
She was in a serious car crash Sunday night on Rt. 18 in New Brunswick, said the Middlesex County Prosecutor.
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A 27-year-old Old Bridge woman remains in critical condition after she was in a serious car crash Sunday night on Rt. 18 in New Brunswick, said the Middlesex County Prosecutor.
The crash happened at 10:15 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Rt. 18 and Paulus Boulevard. Authorities determined a tractor trailer driven by a 57-year-old man from Norristown, Pennsylvania collided with a BMW, driven by the Old Bridge woman. (She is from the Parlin section of Old Bridge.)
She was transported to JFK Medical Center where she was initially treated for serious head injuries. She has since been transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital where she remains in critical condition as of Tuesday afternoon.

The tractor trailer did not sustain any serious injuries from the crash.
After further investigation it was determined that an Infiniti Q50 operated by 27-year-old man also from Parlin was also involved in the collision. Neither he nor the woman were identified by name. No charges have been filed at this time.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
