• Five Touchdowns, A 47-14 Victory, And New Milford's Playoff Dream Just Evaporated (newsbreak.com) — New Milford High's football team crushed Hawthorne 47-14 on October 9, powered by Kobe St. Hilaire's five-touchdown, 400-plus-yard rushing performance, but still missed the NJIC championship playoffs. Because Hawthorne scored 14 points, New Milford lost a crucial tiebreaker, ending a strong 5-2 regular season with only a shared Meadowlands Division title.
