• Firefighter injured battling 2-alarm house fire in River Edge (news12.com) — New Milford firefighters helped battle a two-alarm house fire in nearby River Edge Sunday morning, where one firefighter suffered minor injuries. Crews from several Bergen County towns knocked down heavy flames on Taft Road, while the county hazmat team safely removed multiple lithium-ion batteries found inside the home. Officials are still investigating the cause.
