• Academy Street to Become One-Way Southbound Effective September 1 (tapinto.net) — Academy Street in New Providence is now one-way southbound for its entire length starting today, as the Borough adjusts traffic around the temporary police headquarters at 1 Academy Street. Drivers should expect a new pattern, watch for updated signs, and allow extra time while construction of the new Police Building continues. The change was formally adopted by Mayor and Council ordinance.
