March Board Of Commissioners Meeting 2!!

The second March Meeting primarily consisted of a lot of authorisations for things around the town! Some of these include: contracts and agreements between companies, the authorisation of buying vehicles or granting money to a company, reports, taxes, and the reappointing of a member on a specific board. PS: the photo attached is the vehicle that the board authorised to purchase.
Here's your biweekly dose of news :)
1. They authorised an emergency (uh-oh) contract for snow removal for 14,400.00 dollars.
2. They authorised an HVAC services contract with Trane (an HVAC manufacturing company) for 65,260.00 dollars.
3. They ordered the extension of two contracts: one with Giacorp Contracting Inc. and the other with DiPasqua Plumbing & Heating company which was granted 17,512.50 dollars in the extension of the contract.
4. Authorised the purchase of two large trucks for vocational use, the 2027 F-750 Diesel Regular Cab Base. Both trucks were purchased with a total of 188,526.00 dollars spent.
5. Authorising an order for an additional 113.23 dollars in the 2024 Various Roads Project, aimed for road and infrastructure improvements on Tonnelle Avenue, River Road, and Bergenline Avenue. {click here to read more about the 2024 Various Roads Project :))
6. Authorising a cash deposit of 20,443.09 dollars into a third party managed account, usually for the purpose of property taxes, for North Bergen Gateway LLC
7. Authorised the execution of an agreement which ensures a tenant’s rights are honoured by a new owner, at the 8619 Holding Co. LLC
8. They computed the amount of money in the reserve for uncollected taxes in order to ensure cash flow and that they have enough money for other amenities. Such as money to special district taxes, schools, or the county.
9. They reappointed a member to the Rent Leveling Board, which manages rent increases, mediates disputes, and handles structure alterations which increase a property’s value
10. Received a report from Vital Statistics, documenting the amount of deaths, births, marriages, civil unions, domestic partnerships (two unmarried people who live together), and adoptions
Alongside the same ordinances from March Meeting 1, and a few authorisations to refund overpayments of taxes :)
