• North Wildwood To Rebuild Two Sections of Boardwalk at the Same Time (wildwoodvideoarchive.com) — North Wildwood will rebuild two major sections of its boardwalk this winter, with work starting October 5 and aiming to finish by Easter 2027. Crews will simultaneously tackle stretches near 23rd–24½ Avenues and around 16th Avenue, using state and federal funds to completely replace pilings, structure, and decking. Expect significant offseason construction zones but a sturdier, long‑term boardwalk. 
• 'Icon of the Wildwoods' tram car driver dies at age 97 (courierpostonline.com) — North Wildwood is mourning John "Gigi" Gigliotti, the beloved Sightseer Tram Car driver who became an "Icon of the Wildwoods" after more than 30 years on the boardwalk. After buying a second home in North Wildwood in the 1980s, he charmed generations of riders and business owners with his presence. Community tributes emphasize how deeply his personality shaped summers on the boards.
