• Nutley Seniors Earn Awards In County Art Contest: Here's Who Won This Year (patch.com) — Nutley seniors are earning countywide recognition, with several local artists taking home top honors in the 2026 Essex County Senior Citizens Juried Art Show. Nutley residents including Marleen Valdez, Anthony Andolino, and Alison Torres were celebrated for standout watercolor, acrylic, and craft pieces at a recent awards ceremony in Cedar Grove.
   

• Hackensack Meridian CEO Bob Garrett to retire. Successor search begins (courierpostonline.com) — Nutley readers may be interested that Hackensack Meridian Health CEO Robert Garrett, who helped launch the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine in Nutley in 2018, plans to retire in 2027. The health network now spans 18 hospitals and 500 care sites statewide, and its board is beginning a nationwide search for his successor, aiming to name a new CEO by March.
