• ELEC fines four local candidates, reprimands two, for late campaign finance reports (newjerseyglobe.com) — State election officials have reprimanded Ocean Gate Republican James Fry for filing a campaign finance statement more than 600 days late, though they imposed no additional fine. Fry reported spending no money in the 2023 Ocean Gate GOP primary and later won an unopposed race for a one-year borough council term. Several other New Jersey local candidates also faced fines for overdue reports.
