NJ Pre-K Aide Sexually Abused Children In Bathroom, During Nap Time, Records Say

Shaun Stebbins photographed the young children using the bathroom and filmed himself assaulting them, authorities said.

SOMERS POINT, NJ — A pre-k teacher's aide filmed himself sexually assaulting students as young as three in the bathroom and during nap time at school, according to court documents.

Shaun Stebbins, 44, was initially charged by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office this past April after an investigation found that the Somers Point man had sexually abused children over 11 years, Patch previously reported.

The four children, three of whom are now adults, are Stebbins' brother-in-law's children and unrelated to his job at Woodbine Elementary School, where he worked from February of 2022 through March 29, 2026, when he was arrested. However, authorities expressed concern that there would be more victims because of Stebbins' job.
