Ocean City Theatre Company Sets Fall 2026 Youth Theater Classes
Classes starting Nov. 15 will offer Ocean City-area students training in performance, auditions and theater production.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City Theatre Company is opening registration for its fall 2026 educational classes, with programs for young performers and students set to begin Nov. 15.
The nonprofit arts organization said the fall lineup is designed to help students build confidence, strengthen skills and explore theater in a supportive setting. The classes are aimed at students interested in performing, improving audition skills or learning more about the work that happens offstage.
This season’s offerings include Broadway Warriors: A Musical Theatre Pop Star Adventure for students in grades K through third, Triple Threat Audition and Performance Lab for students in grades fourth through eighth, and Behind the Curtain for students in grades sixth through 12th.

According to the announcement, Broadway Warriors is designed for young performers who want to further develop singing, acting, movement and performance technique while working with material from the Broadway stage. The class encourages students to make bold choices, build confidence and grow as performers.
Triple Threat Audition and Performance Lab focuses on singing, acting and dancing, which the company described as the three essential elements of musical theater. The workshop is intended to help students prepare for auditions and develop practical tools for school, community and professional theater auditions.

Behind the Curtain is geared toward students who want to learn about the creative and technical side of production. According to the announcement, participants will explore the many elements of theatrical production while developing an original work.
“Arts education has always been at the heart of Ocean City Theatre Company’s mission,” said OCTC Artistic Director Michael Hartman. “Our classes are about developing skills, but they are also about giving young people a place to be creative, build confidence, make connections, and discover where they fit within the world of theatre. Whether a student loves being center stage or would rather create the magic behind the curtain, there is a place for them at OCTC.”
Registration is now open, according to the announcement. Families are encouraged to sign up soon, and class sizes may be limited so students can receive meaningful instruction and individual attention.
