Wonder, Parsippany Food Delivery Company, to Cut 533 New Jersey Jobs (communitynews.org) — A Parsippany-based food delivery company, Wonder, plans to cut 533 New Jersey jobs, including from its Route 46 location in town, with layoffs expected to finish by January 8. The move comes as Wonder enters a major partnership with DoorDash and joins several other large employers announcing workforce reductions across the state this fall.

Parsippany Hills, Morris Knolls Tie 1-1 in Overtime (tapinto.net) — Parsippany Hills boys soccer battled Morris Knolls to a 1-1 draw in Rockaway, with Gavin Quirk scoring for the Vikings and Emanuel Castellanos making six saves. The team generated 11 shots on goal and pushed through two overtime periods, giving Parsippany fans a hard-fought conference result on the road.

Verona Residents Awarded in Essex County Senior Art Show (myveronanj.com) — Parsippany seniors were among those recognized in the Essex County Senior Citizens Juried Art Show, which honored 35 artists from towns across the region. While the ceremony took place in Cedar Grove, the inclusion of Parsippany residents highlights local creative talent being celebrated alongside neighbors from Verona, Bloomfield, Livingston, and other Essex County communities.

Lysol Maker Plans New Science and Innovation Center in Nutley (themontclairgirl.com) — Reckitt, maker of Lysol and Mucinex, has shifted its U.S. headquarters from Parsippany to Nutley and is building a major new science and innovation center there. The company still maintains an office complex in Parsippany, tying local jobs to a broader $600 million investment that also expands manufacturing in North Carolina and research in other New Jersey towns.
