ā€¢ Passaic police won't go alone on mental health calls with ARRIVE (northjersey.com) ā€” Passaic is launching the ARRIVE Together program in June, sending police officers on certain mental health calls with clinicians from St. Maryā€™s Hospital instead of going alone. Officials say the goal is fewer arrests and safer outcomes, backed by crisis-intervention training for about a quarter of the force and ongoing follow-up care for residents in distress.
