Woman Critically Injured After Being Struck by Van in Woodland Park Crash (tapinto.net) — A Woodland Park pedestrian is in critical condition at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson after being hit by a van at McBride Avenue and Hillary Street. Police say the van’s driver, a Paterson man operating a Paterson-based transportation vehicle, stayed at the scene as investigators review possible motor vehicle violations.

3. Paterson Man Sentenced to More than 6 Years in Federal Prison for Firearms, Fentanyl Trafficking (tapinto.net) — A Paterson resident has been sentenced to more than six years in federal prison after an undercover investigation into firearms and fentanyl trafficking in the city. Prosecutors say the man sold multiple rifles and large quantities of fentanyl to an undercover agent, earning thousands of dollars. He will also serve three years of supervised release after his prison term.

4. West Milford hangs 12 in the fourth to advance in Passaic County tourney (nj.com subscription) — Paterson Charter’s softball team fell 17-5 to West Milford in the Passaic County Tournament after briefly tying the game with a big fourth-inning rally. The loss ends Paterson Charter’s run as West Milford advances to face Pompton Lakes in the quarterfinals. Several Paterson Charter players still turned in strong offensive performances despite the defeat.
