• Pburg Approves Affordable Housing: State-Controlled PILOT Agreement Sparks Questions (tapinto.net) — Phillipsburg officials have advanced an ordinance enabling a new age-restricted affordable housing development, part of the town’s state-mandated obligation to zone for 75 affordable units. Residents raised concerns about taxes and a state-controlled PILOT, while officials stressed their limited control and relatively modest housing quota. A key Land Use Board hearing is set for May 28 at the EnVision Center.
