Young NJ Bartender Killed In Late-Night Crash, Loved Ones Say (dailyvoice.com) — A young woman has been identified by loved ones as the passenger killed when a car struck a tree near Woodland Avenue and Rahway Road in Plainfield early Sunday, June 7. Plainfield police have not yet commented, but friends and coworkers are remembering her warmth, and a GoFundMe has raised tens of thousands of dollars to support her family’s funeral expenses. 
2. RWJBarnabas Health partnering with Union County to launch mobile pediatric unit, community health clinics (roi-nj.com) — Plainfield families can soon access a new RWJBarnabas mobile pediatric unit that will regularly visit the city with screenings, immunizations, and other basic care for kids. The program, part of a broader Union County and statewide effort, also partners with Neighborhood Health in Plainfield and expands services like street medicine to reach vulnerable residents where they live.
3. Wardlaw+Hartridge Students Share Genetics Research (tapinto.net) — A Plainfield student, Sophie DeLaurentiis, joined classmates at Wardlaw+Hartridge in Edison to present yearlong genetics research using fruit flies, including work on key signaling pathways.
