• After Winter Weather Damages Roads, Plainfield Gives Update on Pothole Repair (tapinto.net) — Plainfield officials say crews are now repairing 200–300 potholes a day across the city, using hot asphalt as warmer weather allows. Public Works expects more extensive milling and paving, coordinated with utility work, to ramp up by June, aiming to restore streets damaged by this winter’s harsh conditions.
   

• Hamawy is, indeed, best-funded Dem in packed NJ-12 race (newjerseyglobe.com) — Plainfield residents may be interested that their mayor, Adrian Mapp, is among the top fundraisers in the crowded Democratic primary for New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District. Surgeon and Army veteran Adam Hamawy currently leads the money race, with several other candidates, including Mapp, vying for resources and attention as outside political groups may soon pour money into the contest.
