America's 250th Parade, Block Party In Point Pleasant Beach Rescheduled
The parade and block party to celebrate America's 250th Anniversary are being rescheduled due to the weather forecast.
POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — Point Pleasant Beach officials have decided to reschedule Saturday's parade and block party due to the forecast for storms, Mayor Doug Vitale said Friday.
The parade and block party that were set to celebrate America's 250th Anniversary have been moved to Sunday, Sept. 6, Vitale said.
The National Weather Service forecast has predicted rain and thunderstorms for most of the day on Saturday, which prompted the postponement, Vitale said.
