PRINCETON, NJ - On Sept. 29, Princeton Police investigated a report of counterfeit currency at a business on Nassau Street. The investigation determined that on Sept. 26, an unknown suspect purchased sunglasses using a counterfeit $100 bill and received $84.06 in change. A second suspect later attempted to make a purchase using a counterfeit $100 bill but was unsuccessful. The investigation remains ongoing.
On Sept. 30, Princeton Police investigated a report of a bicycle theft on Herrontown Road. The investigation determined that an unknown suspect stole a bicycle valued at approximately $672 from a bicycle rack outside an apartment complex between Sept. 25 and 27. The investigation remains ongoing.

On Oct. 2, Princeton Police investigated a report of a bicycle theft on Terhune Road. The investigation determined that sometime between Sept. 29 and Oct. 1, an unknown suspect stole a brown Nicolai Ion ST mountain bicycle valued at approximately $6,000 from a bicycle rack. The investigation remains ongoing.
