• Police find driver hiding under train after his SUV plunges into Hackensack River (nj.com subscription) — Emergency crews in Ridgefield Park responded Monday night after a BMW SUV crashed off Interstate 80 East and plunged into the Hackensack River, prompting a large water search. Ridgefield Park volunteer firefighters launched boats and used an aerial ladder and drone to ensure no one remained trapped, while state police later arrested the driver, who allegedly fled on foot and now faces multiple charges.
