Tour Bus Hits, Kills Man In Bergen County, Police Say
A man who was struck by a tour bus in Bergen County on Tuesday later died, prosecutors said.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A man who was struck by a tour bus in Ridgefield has died, officials said Wednesday morning.
On Tuesday, around 9:30 p.m., the Ridgefield Police Department responded to a crash near Broad and Maple avenues, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office on Wednesday.
Police found a 76-year-old male pedestrian who had been struck by a private tour bus, prosecutors said.

He was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition, prosecutors said, and was later pronounced dead.
The driver, who stayed at the scene, was the only person on the bus at the time, prosecutors said.

The prosecutor's Fatal Accident Task Force is investigating.
