2 Children Sexually Assaulted At NJ Mall, State Police Say
A man assaulted two children at the North Jersey mall, state police said.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A Jersey City man was arrested Friday for sexually assaulting two children at the American Dream complex, police said.
State police said that on Aug. 2, troopers from the Meadowlands Station responded to a report of harassment at the Ninja Kidz attraction at the complex in East Rutherford.
Troopers met with the parents of the child victims, said Det. Sgt. Caitlin Brennan.

After a preliminary investigation, police determined that Oscar A. Cerna-Borja, 44, engaged in "unwanted touching" of two separate children.
He was arrested and charged with third-degree endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of harassment.

He was released to await a future court date.
New Charges
But on Aug. 12, after further investigation, he was charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault, and a warrant was issued, Brennan said.
On Friday, he voluntarily surrendered at the Meadowlands Station.
He was taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a detention hearing, Brennan said.
The case remains under investigation, and no additional information is available, she said.
