• 2x N.J. wrestling state champion stays home, commits to Rutgers (nj.com subscription) — Rumson-Fair Haven wrestling standout Sonny Amato, the program's first two-time individual state champion, has decided to stay close to home and commit to Rutgers. After a difficult summer and a decommitment from Iowa, the nationally ranked 150-pounder says he's ready to chase more titles while continuing the Bulldogs' dominant run that already includes three straight Group 2 team crowns.
