Her goal is to help Scotch Plains residents see familiar landscapes as Revolutionary War sites, using accessible storytelling and hands-on activities that welcome people of all backgrounds and abilities.
   

• Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School Environmental Club Earns Green Flag Certification in First Year of Eco-Schools Program (TAPinto.net) — Students at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School have earned coveted Green Flag Status in the Eco-Schools program after completing nine hands-on environmental projects in their first year. Their work, from a pollinator garden to endangered-species education, highlights how local teens are leading sustainability efforts that involve the wider school and Scotch Plains-Fanwood community.
   

• Local Synagogue's 'Every Voice, Every Vote' Events Encourage Civic Engagement (TAPinto.net) — Temple Sholom in Scotch Plains recently held its third postcard-writing gathering, where congregants wrote nonpartisan messages encouraging people nationwide to vote. Organizers and the rabbi frame the effort as a Jewish values-based way to support civic responsibility, with all participants signing a pledge to keep the campaign strictly nonpartisan.
